Description

OM MANI PADME HUNG is surely the most frequently recited mantra in the Tibetan culture and over the centuries many different melodies have evolved. During our visits to Aachen, we asked masters of the Drikung Kagyü Lineage to sing this mantra from Avalokiteshvara (Tib. Chenresig). In particular: H.H. Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang Rinpoche, H.E. Garchen Rinpoche, H.E. Ayang Rinpoche, H.E. Adak Rinpoche, Drubpön Dschampa Rigzin and Lama Gar Tsering.

Seven different melodies with a wide range of voices have come together. They are framed by a short praise at the beginning of the CD and a dedication at the end. There are also two prayers to Avalokiteshvara on the CD, of which the “The Treasure of Benefit and Happiness” is well known.

This article is offered as a download for personal use. After the purchase, you will receive a link to download a zip file containing all the tracks on the CD in MP3 format, as well as links to the individual tracks. The links are active for 14 days and the files can be downloaded a maximum of three times.
